The purpose of Establish is to provide good quality, affordable and safe housing to young people as they begin work, having been through the care system or homelessness services.
We partner with local youth support organisations who support our tenants’ in their work aspirations and to become independent in the management of their lives and home.

The homes are managed for ACT by Andrews Property Group who provide young tenants with a professional housing management service.
We currently have 7 properties, housing 21 young people. our aim is to provide homes for 150 young people at any one time by the end of 2066.
Establish started in 2016 to celebrate the 70th anniversary of Andrews. It is a way in which charity and business can work together in the original spirit of our mutual founder, Cecil Jackson-Cole. Houses purchased are typically near an Andrews branch office to enable maximum staff engagement and support from staff.
The typical process of securing a house involves many partners for which we are very grateful. We aim to provide, comfortable, welcoming and eco-friendly housing at below market value rent to our tenants. This helps their transition into independence.
Working with Andrews Property group
Every endeavour that ACT embarks on relies on collaboration with others, but this is no more so than with our Establish programme, where partnership is key to its delivery and its success.
Establish is a visionary project, something quite special. We’re delighted to be working with ACT moving forward to support vulnerable young people.
